Resource Developer - Student staff x2

168hrs over 3 months maximum. Flexible working offered

Home-based / Hybrid London optional. Salary: £12.00 per hour (UK real living wage), £13.15 for staff in London

The two Resource Developers will be integral parts of The RACE Report team. SOS-UK launched The RACE Report (Racial Action on the Climate Emergency) in April 2022 thanks to the support of Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, and Synchronicity Earth. The environment, climate, sustainability and conservation sector remains one of the least diverse in the UK . The goal of The RACE Report is to increase the transparency of inclusion and diversity data trends in the sector at the level of individual environmental charities and funders, thus providing a catalyst for further progressive action. Now into our third year of the project, there is increasing demand for resources and sharing of good practices amongst participating organisations of The RACE Report. We also have a growing database of examples of equity, diversity and inclusion practices shared through annual reporting for The RACE Report. The Resource Developers will help to develop real-world case studies and gather examples from environmental charities and funders who are actively working to deliver on equity, diversity and inclusion. You will be supported in all your work by The RACE Report core staff team. You will be a pro-active individual, capable of collating information and turning it into useful and engaging resources. Please read a full description of the role’s responsibilities and person specification (knowledge, skills, attributes, qualifications and experience).
