The summit brings together young people and student stakeholders, Individuals working in, considering working in, or funding organisations and projects committed to transforming diversity and inclusion in the environment sector, to generate commitment and collective action and create the change we need, to ensure the sector can truly serve the communities most affected by the climate and ecological catastrophe.
The day will be filled with progressive conversations, positive challenges, practical takeaways, connection, networking opportunities, and action-oriented workshops to create a more inclusive environmental sector!
We hope to centre connection and movement, whilst listening, engaging, learning, positively challenging and working with CEOs, HR professionals and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) leads, underrepresented individuals in the sector, and allies committed to transformative action.
If you don't want to facilitate a session but would love to attend, you can register for your ticket here.
As part of The RACE Summit, we will hold a careers showcase to provide practical opportunities and connections for attendees.
The careers stall will centre “Empowerment through opportunity” and will provide a time for networking, learning, and showcasing opportunities particularly for individuals from underrepresented communities to engage with and thrive in the environmental charity sector through clear and actionable pathways.
If you are representing an organisation and your organisation would like to also host a careers stall, register here. The deadline for registration is 30th May.
This is a unique opportunity to share your organisation's mission, raise awareness about the work you're doing, and recruit diverse talent committed to environmental justice and sustainability. More details can be found in this careers showcase info document.
